The exhibition, curated by Orsola Vannocci Bonsi and Federico Rudari, takes place at SNBA in Lisbon, in the context of the screening of the film “Arsa” at the 19th edition of the Italian Film Festival, and explores the artists’ archives, highlighting the relationships of influence and contamination between their works. A visual atlas of video fragments constructs a deliberately random retrospective, where what is missing—forgotten, desired, or never existed—becomes as revealing as what is present.

MASBEDO, a duo formed by Nicolò Massazza and Iacopo Bedogni, has been working at the intersection of cinema and art since 1999. Their works have been presented at institutions such as Manifesta 15 Barcelona, ​​Centre Pompidou-Metz, CCCB Barcelona, ​​Fondazione Merz, MAXXI, and Centre Pompidou, and exhibited at festivals such as the Venice Biennale, Locarno, CPH, and IFFR.
