The exhibition, the result of an open call launched in February 2026, presents itself as a profound and multifaceted exploration of the crucial theme of CARE.
Through the eyes of international artists, the exhibition explores the many facets of the concept of caregiving: not only as physical or healthcare assistance, but as an existential attitude, an ethical responsibility, an interpersonal bond, and a tool for psychophysical and social regeneration.
The Curatorial Vision: Art as a means of Care
The project, conceived by Rebecca Russo, aligns perfectly with the historical mission of the Videoinsight Foundation – ETS, which has long been a pioneer in exploring the therapeutic, transformative, and cognitive potential of contemporary art. In a historical era marked by vulnerability and fragmentation, the figure of the caregiver (one who cares for others) becomes a universal archetype.
The artists selected through the Open Call address this central theme using diverse artistic languages, offering the public not only works to contemplate but also genuine stimuli and “insights” to activate inner resources and promote emotional well-being.
To care means to welcome the other, to recognize their fragility and to transform.
