Performance by Entang Wiharso

In 2013, in the context of the “Pressing” exhibition, the result of a trip with a studio visit to Indonesia, the Videoinsight® Foundation offered the public a site-specific performance by the internationally renowned artist Entang Wiharso entitled “Border- Less“. It was created with the participation of Silvia Garis and Rebecca Russo. A wall of 200 white cushions was built by the Artist who interacted with the two performers through drums and very long cords. The event took place in collaboration with the Indonesian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale. It was curated by Melani Setiawan and Rebecca Russo. The event, accompanied by a dinner, involved many international guests. For the occasion, the Videoinsight® Foundation produced the Pressing catalogue, in Italian and English, which was donated to the 400 spectators present and disseminated in the oriental art system. Event included in the Torino Piemonte Contemporary Art circuit.
