Palazzo Rota, Venice
In the heart of the historic center, just steps from Piazza San Marco, stands Palazzo Rota.
This period building has been transformed into six refined luxury apartments. Each space has been designed to ensure freedom, comfort, and elegance. Palazzo Rota allows guests to experience Venice at their own pace and with complete independence. Each of the six apartments is named after a lagoon island—Murano, Burano, Torcello, Sant’Erasmo, Lido, and San Giorgio Maggiore—evoking a deep connection to the area and paying homage to Venice’s cultural and landscape heritage. Palazzo Rota is more than just a place to stay, but an elegant Venetian residence that allows you to experience Venice in style: a harmonious fusion of history, aesthetics, and belonging. Built in the 14th century as a textile factory, it has served as a glassworks, a museum, and a noble residence: each transformation has left its mark, making this building a precious testament to Venetian heritage.
Palazzo Rota offers its guests the experience of Videoart. Six works from the Videoinsight® Collection are exhibited in the apartments. The permanent exhibition, titled Videoinsight® Experience, is the result of a collaboration between the Pacini Group and the Videoinsight Foundation – ETS.
Artistic Direction is by Rebecca Russo. Curatorship is by Monica Bassetto.
