The Videoinsight® Art Science Foundation, in collaboration with the Videoinsight® Center, presented, from June 4, 2013 to July 16, 2013, the exhibition “Pressing” dedicated entirely to contemporary Indonesian art. The event accompanied the inauguration of the Indonesian Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale, curated by Carla Bianpoen and Rifky Effendi, which included works by artists Entang Wiharso, Eko Nugroho, Albert Yohan Setiawan, Sri Astari, Titarubi.

During the Opening on June 4, the artist Entang Wiharso, present at the Biennale in the Indonesian Pavilion, created the performance “Border-Less” in the presence of the public.

On the same occasion, the video book “Indonesian Art World. 1977 – 2012” was presented, an extraordinary collection of documents of the life dedicated to Indonesian contemporary art by Melani W. Setiawan, the most famous woman of art in Indonesia: doctor, art-lover, patron, member of prestigious international boards in the scientific and artistic fields, curator of relations between artists, collectors, art experts, public.

During the opening, a dinner was offered to the guests. For the occasion, the catalogue “Pressing. Indonesian Exhibition” was created by Fondazione Arte Scienza Videoinsight®, in Italian and English, 2013
